The Jagal Foundation recently hosted the newly elected Executive Council of the Federal Nigeria Society for the Blind (FNSB) in a strategic engagement to strengthen collaboration between both organisations; particularly in advancing initiatives for people with visual impairments and promoting their active participation in society.
Speaking during the reception, the Chairman of The Jagal Foundation, Maher Jarmakani said: “We deeply appreciate the FNSB for their immense contribution towards empowering the visually impaired. Your work continues to inspire meaningful change, and we are proud to collaborate in driving a more impactful and equitable future for all.”
Since 2021, The Jagal Foundation has supported the FNSB through a dedicated scholarship programme, as part of initiatives to create opportunities that enhance dignity and self-reliance.
In response, the Chairman of the Executive Council of the FNSB, Mrs. Arit Tunde Imoyo said: “We sincerely thank The Jagal Foundation for its consistent support over the years. Your commitment has significantly strengthened our efforts in achieving our shared goals. We look forward to sustaining and expanding this collaboration as we work together to build a more inclusive society.”
The Jagal Foundation delivers programmes through its core intervention areas, including economic empowerment initiatives, education, vocational skills development, healthcare support, and social welfare.
