13 December, 2023

The Jagal Foundation has concluded its fifth annual Career Coaching and Development Program, aimed at bridging the employability skills gap among young graduates and members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).

Participants were trained in CV writing skills, personal effectiveness, effective communication, presentation skills, and Microsoft applications.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the week-long program, Daniel Ayscough, Chief Human Resources Officer at Nigerdock, a Jagal Group company, said: “Supporting Nigeria’s future is very important to us at The Jagal Foundation, and is the basis for our continued investment in the youth to enable them provide immense value to organisations across sectors.”

Following a rigorous vetting exercise, 21 exceptional individuals were selected to participate in the program. These participants exhibited outstanding academic achievements, exceptional leadership potential, and a strong desire to develop their careers.

The program was conducted in partnership with the JK Michaels Institute, a project management, consulting, and training institute, and it featured an extensive curriculum focused on various aspects of career development.

The Chief Operating Officer of JK Michaels Institute, Oyin Williams, added, “Our purpose is to empower people and we have been working with The Jagal Foundation for five years to do so. They have passionately and consistently equipped young talents with the right skills and capabilities necessary for personal and professional growth.
